WHAT WE INSTALL & WHAT TO EXPECT
We install main breaker panels from Square D, Siemens, Eaton, and Leviton in sizes from 100A to 400A. For most Long Island homes, a 200A upgrade is the right choice — it handles everything from EV chargers to central air conditioning to a home addition without issue.
Every panel upgrade includes: proper grounding and bonding, new breakers for all existing circuits, arc fault (AFCI) and ground fault (GFCI) protection where required by current NEC code, and whole-home surge protection. We also coordinate with PSEG Long Island for any service entrance work.
The job typically takes one full day. Power is off for 4–6 hours during the swap. We work efficiently and communicate clearly about the timeline. After inspection sign-off, you'll have documentation of the completed, permitted work for your records and future buyers.
